Welcome to the website of the Southland Competitions Society Incorporated. This site contains information about the Society and gives all the information you will need to enter the annual competitions. The arts covered this year are: Instrumental, Vocal, Speech and Drama, Ballet, Modern Dance, Hip-Hop, Tap Dancing, Irish Dancing, and Highland & National Dancing.

Competitions 2025

The committee were grateful for the support received for our 2024 competitions, we look forward to hosting competitions in 2025 in the following art forms

• Tap Dancing - 15-16 August 2025
• Highland & National Dancing - 17 August 2025
• Ballet & Modern Dancing - 19-22 September 2025
• Instrumental - 20 September 2025
• Vocal - 19-21 September 2025

Unfortunately Irish Dancing and Speech & Drama will not be offered in 2025. We are always interested in hearing from anyone who would like to take on a role with our committee, large or small. Please make contact via our Facebook page, or email to admin@southlandcomps.org.nz

Our AGM is coming up in March and we are always looking for volunteers to join our committee. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting, this will be held on Sunday March 16th, at 5.30pm and St Joseph's school, Eye Street.
